NEW Chauvet DJ SlimSTRIP UV-18 IRC

SlimSTRIP UV-18 IRC is a high-output ultraviolet wash designed to deliver even UV coverage for stages, DJ setups, blacklight effects, and glow environments. This eco-friendly replacement for standard 48-inch fluorescent tubes can be controlled via DMX, or convenient wireless non-DMX control using the optional IRC-6 (view accessories) remote control. To create large displays, attach multiple units together with the optional CBB-6 (not included).

UV Output and Control

Powered by 18 UV LEDs (3 W) with a 390 to 400 nm wavelength range, SlimSTRIP UV-18 IRC provides a focused UV wash suited to reactive paints, fabrics, and fluorescent materials. For programming and integration into lighting rigs, it supports 3-channel DMX over 3-pin XLR, and it also offers strobing from 0 to 33 Hz for timed accents and dynamic looks.

Fast Setup and Scalable Installations

Designed for quick deployment, SlimSTRIP UV-18 IRC is ready to use right out of the box and supports power linking to reduce cable runs when building multi-fixture UV lines. Power linking supports up to 17 units at 120 V (or 34 units at 230 V), making it practical for longer stage edges, scenic backdrops, and venue installs where a continuous UV wash is needed.

Power, Build, and Compliance

The fixture uses auto-ranging power from 100 to 240 VAC (50/60 Hz) and draws approximately 51 W. It measures 41.9 x 2.3 x 5 in and weighs 5.2 lb for straightforward mounting, and it is CE approved. LED life expectancy is rated at 50,000 hours under typical operating conditions.
