High End Road Hog 4

The Road Hog 4 is a cost effective lighting control console built for touring, venues, and production teams that need Hog 4 programming in a compact footprint. With a market leading 22-inch multi touch display, all in a compact package, now with networking and Art-Net outputs, it is designed for fast programming, hands-on playback, and straightforward system integration.

Familiar Hog 4 Workflow in a Compact Chassis

The programming interface remains familiar with the minutest of changes to allow for the compact chassis, allowing the user to transition across the whole range without sacrificing work flow. Running robust Hog 4 operating software, the console supports an unlimited number of simultaneous crossfades for smooth, layered transitions during complex cueing.

Hands-On Playback and Control

The integrated screen supports 10 point multi touch for quick selection, editing, and on-screen playback. Physical control is built in with ten playback faders, twelve user keys, and 4 encoders for an expanded wheelset, giving operators tactile control for live busking, theatre cue stacks, and time-critical adjustments.

Networking, DMX, and Expansion

For connecting to fixtures and larger control networks, Road Hog 4 provides four fixed universes of DMX 512 plus up to 8 universes of DMX 512 over Art-Net or sACN. Dedicated Hog-Net and Fixture-Net Ethernet connectors support common Hog system networking workflows, and one external monitor or touchscreen is supported (where applicable) for expanded programming space.

Built for Show Environments

An internal solid state hard disk drive supports reliable show storage, and five USB ports allow connection of Wholehog wings and external touchscreens. Desklights, feedback LEDs, and the integrated worklight are all dimmable for better visibility in dark control positions. Auto-ranging mains input (90-250VAC) helps simplify power in varied venues and touring situations.
