The Swisson XSH Hybrid Splitter is a rack-mounted distribution unit designed to send power and DMX from one location to multiple fixtures using a single, tidy workflow. It is purpose-built for modern lighting rigs that rely on “hybrid cables” combining XLR for DMX and powerCon for mains power.

Hybrid Power + DMX Distribution for Modern Rigs

The XSH features a powerCon 20A input and an XLR DMX input, then provides four matched output pairs, each consisting of a powerCon 20A output and an XLR output. This layout makes it easy to feed multiple fixtures or truss drops while keeping power and data organized and consistently routed.

Cleaner Signal, Fewer DMX Issues

To support reliable control across longer cable runs and busy networks, the XSH boosts and regenerates DMX, helping reduce reflection problems that can cause flicker or intermittent behavior. The DMX input includes built-in termination, and the unit provides 4 optically isolated DMX outputs to help protect connected devices and maintain signal integrity.

Built-In Current Monitoring (RDM Optional)

A built-in amp meter (0 to 20A) makes it simple to monitor overall current draw on the powerCon feed so you can spot load increases early and avoid operating cables near their limits. With the RDM option, it is also possible to remotely monitor the current draw.
