The NEW Swisson RDM and Powercon XSH Hyprid Splitter XLR5 Box distributes power and a DMX signal from a single, compact unit, making it a practical fit for modern DMX rigs that rely on so called hybrid cables with XLR and powerCon connectors.

Hybrid Power + DMX Distribution for Modern Setups

The XSH features a powerCon 20A input and an XLR DMX input, then provides four paired outputs, each combining a powerCon 20A output and an XLR DMX output. This paired layout helps keep power and data runs organized when feeding multiple fixtures or distribution points from one location.

Regenerated, Optically Isolated DMX Signal

For signal integrity, the DMX input includes built-in termination, and the unit boosts and regenerates DMX to help reduce reflection problems. The XSH provides 4 optically isolated DMX outputs, helping protect the DMX line and minimize the impact of faults or interference between downstream devices.

Built-In Current Monitoring (0 to 20A)

The XSH comes with a built-in amp meter (0 - 20A) for quick, at-a-glance monitoring of power draw. This makes it easier to track consumption during setup and operation, allowing action before cables are operated at their limits. With the RDM option, it is also possible to remotely monitor the current draw.

Connector and DMX Pinout Options

Built with Neutrik XLR and powerCon connectors, the XSH is available with 5-pin XLR or 3-pin XLR configurations to match common DMX cabling standards.
