The Swisson XSH Hybrid Splitter allows for distributing power and a DMX signal within one single unit, making it a practical hub for modern lighting rigs that use hybrid cables (XLR + powerCon) to streamline cabling to fixtures and truss.

Hybrid Power and DMX Distribution

The XSH features a powerCon 20A input and an XLR DMX input, plus four paired outputs (powerCon 20A + XLR) for feeding multiple devices from one compact splitter box. This combination comes especially handy with modern DMX setups, where so called hybrid cables with XLR and powerCon connectors are frequently used.

Signal Integrity and System Protection

For reliable control, the unit boosts and regenerates DMX to help maintain a clean signal over longer runs, while reducing reflection problems that can cause flicker or data errors. The DMX input includes built-in termination, and the unit provides 4 optically isolated DMX outputs to help prevent faults or ground issues on one line from affecting the rest of the system.

Power Monitoring (Local and Optional Remote)

The XSH comes with a built-in amp meter (0 to 20A) which makes it a breeze to keep track of the amount of power that is consumed, allowing its user to take action before the cables are operated at their limits. With the optional RDM option it is also possible to remotely monitor the current draw.

Connector Options and Build Details

Built with Neutrik XLR and powerCon connectors and a high level of reliability, the XSH is available with either 5-pin XLR or 3-pin XLR connectors to match common DMX infrastructures.
