Reliable Signal Distribution for DMX and RDM

The XSR boosts and regenerates both DMX and RDM, which helps maintain clean data over longer cable runs and through complex layouts. By splitting a single input into multiple outputs, it can also reduce reflection-related issues that commonly appear in branched or daisy-chained networks.

Port Protection and Electrical Isolation

A specially designed power supply ensures safe operation even under harsh mains conditions. All ports are individually optically isolated and well protected against transient over voltages, helping protect connected fixtures and controllers while reducing the chance that a fault on one line impacts the rest of the system.

DMX-Only Mode and Built-In Termination

In the "DMX-only" mode all non-DMX data is filtered out and a clean signal without RDM or other protocols is generated, useful when you need strict DMX compatibility. Built-in line termination simplifies correct end-of-line setup for stable performance.

RDM Discoverable for Easier Troubleshooting

The XSR splitters are discoverable and are visible on RDM controllers. This gives the user an better overview of the installation and helps with trouble shooting.

The XSR family is available in multiple connection types (5-pin and 3-pin XLR models, RJ-45 and pluggable screw terminals models) and housing types (installation, box, rack and double rack models). This box version provides 5 DMX outputs per universe (10 outputs on the double-rack), making it easy to match the splitter format to your control network design.
