The XSR helps reduce reflection problems and keeps data integrity high by regenerating the signal before it is distributed. This is especially useful when you need to feed multiple fixtures, trusses, rooms, or branches from a single DMX universe while maintaining consistent performance.

Electrical Protection and Port Isolation

The XSR has a specially designed power supply which ensures safe operation even under harsh mains conditions. All ports are individually optically isolated and well protected against transient over voltages, helping to prevent a problem on one line from affecting the rest of the system.

DMX-Only Mode and RDM Visibility

In the "DMX-only" mode all non-DMX data is filtered out and a clean signal without RDM or other protocols is generated, which can help in environments where you want strictly DMX data on the line.
