Pathway DMX Interfaces provide a flexible way of creating custom solutions to DMX control challenges.
The Pathway PWINF 16-Channel Demultiplexer converts a DMX512 universe into 16 channels of analog DC control voltage, making it a practical bridge between modern DMX consoles and equipment that expects 0-10V style control, such as legacy dimmer racks, LED drivers, or 4-wire electronic fluorescent ballasts.
User-configurable diode shunts let you set each output for current sourcing (typically used for legacy theatrical dimmers) or current sinking control (typically used for LED fixture drivers or ballast control), so the same interface can be adapted to mixed systems.
Configuration and Control
Designed for panel and control enclosures, this compact interface mounts to standard 35mm x 7.5mm DIN rail and can be configured in the field from the front panel or remotely using RDM. Set the DMX512 start address and operating mode without opening the enclosure, and use the onboard status LEDs to quickly confirm power, processor activity, and DMX input presence.
Analog Output Modes
- Standard output ranges: 0-10V, 0-15V, 0-2.5V, or 0-5V
- Custom mode supports user-configurable minimum and maximum output levels up to 15V
- Per-channel output capability: 10mA sourcing or 30mA sinking
System Integration
- CCL “Panic Input” drives all outputs to full for emergency or override operation
- One DMX Input and one DMX Thru connection for clean DMX wiring
- Data and power can be daisy-chained to other DIN Interface units to streamline installations
- Power input range: 9-30VDC (6W maximum power consumption)
