NEW Lightronics RA122 Architectural Rack Mount Dimmer

The NEW Lightronics RA122 Architectural Rack Mount Dimmer is built for permanent and portable lighting systems in churches, stages, theaters, schools, night clubs, live performances and other event and artistic applications. It combines a dedicated processor with 12 dimmer channels rated at 2.4 kW each in a standard 19-inch rack-mount enclosure for clean integration into equipment racks and control rooms.

Reliable Power Distribution and Protection

Each channel is protected by a 20 Amp fast acting magnetic circuit breaker to help isolate faults quickly and keep the rest of the rig online. Heavy duty filtering chokes are used to reduce noise, and the dimmer channel semiconductors exceed a 200% load carrying capacity overhead allowance.

Control Options for DMX and Architectural Systems

The RA122 may be controlled by DMX-512 controllers and several types of wall remote stations, making it a practical choice for venues that use both show control and day-to-day architectural lighting control. Connectivity and control support includes DMX-512, RS-485, and contact closures, plus 100 scene memory for storing looks and presets.
