NEW Lightronics SM192 Portable Dimmer

The NEW Lightronics SM192 Portable Dimmer is a fixture (or scanner) oriented DMX controller designed for moving lights and event lighting control in church, stage, theater, disco, night club, live performances and other artistic applications. 

DMX Fixture Control and Scene Programming

Built to streamline multi-fixture setups, the SM192 can control up to 12 fixtures with 16 DMX channels each for a total of 192 DMX channels. It includes 30 banks of user-programmable scenes, with up to 8 scenes per bank, making it easy to build looks for different songs, cues, or parts of a show and recall them quickly during operation. 

Chases and Playback Options

For dynamic playback, there are 6 programmable chases, and each chase can contain up to 240 steps. Scene banks can also be automatically run like chases, which is useful when you want repeating movement and color changes without manually advancing cues. 

Hands-On Show Control

The console provides practical live controls including 8 channel sliders, a dedicated blackout button, and separate fade time and speed time sliders to shape transitions and chase timing in real time. A polarity selector is included, and the controller offers four run modes, Sound, Manual, Auto, and MIDI, to fit different show workflows and trigger preferences. 

Works with Dimmer Packs and Add-On Controls

In addition to moving lights, the unit can also be used to control conventional dimmer packs, making it a flexible choice for mixed rigs. The SM192 is LED compatible and includes optional buttons for fog machine and flash light control.
