The ARRI 300W Fresnel is ideal for use where compact, lightweight tungsten Fresnel spotlights are required, especially in small studios where grid height is a problem. Classic ARRI construction, using corrosion-resistant, extruded, die cast aluminum, maximizes body strength while maintaining the light weight of a location fixture. Despite the small size of ARRI Fresnels, their short focal length, wide angle lenses produce impressive light output and good light distribution over the full beam area.

Designed for tight studio spaces and location kits

With a compact body and a 3.2 in (81.2 mm) low expansion borosilicate Fresnel lens, this fixture is well-suited for smaller grids and portable tungsten packages where you still want the controlled beam and familiar shadow quality of a Fresnel. The wide-angle, short focal length lens helps maintain even coverage across the beam, which is especially useful for close working distances.

Build, optics, and mounting details

The ARRI 300W Fresnel uses a spherical specular high purity aluminum reflector and a GY9.5 lampholder. It weighs 6.5 lb (2.9 kg) for easier rigging and handling. For mounting flexibility, it features a 5/8 in (16 mm) stand mount, and it is also available in a hanging model with pipe clamp.
