The NEW Le Maitre Pea Souper is the original dry ice fog machine and now industry standard. Ruggedly constructed and portable, it is designed for fast, straightforward operation and variable output for on-demand low-lying fog effects, delivering up to 5 minutes of fog production from a single load.

Dry Ice Output and Run Time

Use 9 kg (20 lbs) of dry ice for approximately 5 minutes of effect, or load up to 18 kg (40 lbs) of dry ice before reheating is required. This capacity makes the Pea Souper a practical choice for timed cues in live events, theatre, and production environments where repeatable fog output matters.

Control and Safety

For easy adjustment on site, the Pea Souper features an adjustable flow rate with four output levels, allowing you to match the effect to the room size and scene requirements. A built-in thermal safety cut-off helps protect the unit during operation.
